Join us at the beautiful, newly renovated Village Venu in Scott Twp for a Pop-Up Art Class with PA Certified Art Teacher, Kristina Toolan. Help foster your tween or teen's passion for art with this fun and educational approach to collage!

This 90 minute class will introduce your child to the freedom and creativity found in collage artwork. Collage artwork has been embraced by the art commnity since Picasso and there is beauty found in this medium is that hard to match with other mediums. Our session will be a high success opportunity for young artists to try something a little bit different and out of the box with skills that can be used again and again after class ends!

We'll spend a brief time talking about collage as a style of artwork and look at the work from famous collage artists. Instruction will include a directed drawing session to help students draw a basic outline for their scene and then we'll dive into the fun techniques that can be used to create original collage artwork! After our session, we'll wrap up the evening with a special cocoa bar designed just for them!

All supplies will be provided. 

Parents may drop off or stay and the enjoy the atmosphere at the Village Venu. A hot cocoa bar will be set up for artists to enjoy (and they'll be plenty for mom or dad too:-)
